Life Dynamics lists Erica on their “Blackmun Wall” of women killed by safe and legal abortion.

Erica was 20 years old and 22 weeks pregnant when she sought an abortion in 1974. Saline was injected into her uterus to poison the fetus and induce labor.

Before she expelled the fetus, Erica suffered an amniotic fluid embolism, which embolism triggered a fatal blood-clotting disorder.

As you can see from the graph below, abortion deaths were falling dramatically before legalization. This steep fall had been in place for decades. To argue that legalization lowered abortion mortality simply isn’t supported by the data.
