In February of 1916, Mrs. Ada Williams of Denver died of a botched abortion.

Dr. Noble O. Hamilton was convicted in her death.

Hamilton, born in Indiana on August 3, 1864, was shown as an inmate at Colorado State Penitentiary in the 1920 and 1930 census. He also shows as divorced in 1920, though whether his wife, Nancy, divorced him because of his criminal actions is of course not on record. It doesn’t appear that the couple had any children.

He died December 24, 1950.
