Sara Franki Lint, a 22-year-old coed, died in 1970 from a safe and legal abortion performed at San Vicente Hospital in Los Angeles, California by either Albert Kapstrom or Milton Gotlib.

Milton H. Gotlib was born August 16, 1920, the son of Russian immigrates. He graduated
in 1948 from the Indiana University School of Medicine. He underwent unspecified training at San Vicente.
He graduated from New Bedford High School in 1938, from the University of Arizona, and from the University of Indiana Medical School in 1948. He served in the Air Force from 1953-55 in the Korean War.
In 1986, he -- along with some other doctors -- got attention in the Los Angeles Timesfor using a weight loss treatment debunked by the FDA.
"In weight-loss programs that use the hormone," The Times
said, "a patient is typically prescribed a 500-calorie-a-day diet, compared to a normal adult intake of more than 1,800 calories daily, and HCG shots five times a week for six weeks. The cost for such a program may be $300 to $500."
Gotlib died July 4, 1998, at the age of 77.
